The only problem listed by the Game Engine (before closing itself) is the DX11 situation listed above, is there somewhere where I can patch DX12 The question is this: what is your hardware? You can have DX11 installed all day long, but if you're running a graphics card that doesn't support it, it won't matter. This is entirely the decision of the developer, ArenaNet. The software portion is backwards compatible. Even if your OS and hardware use DirectX 12, you will not have the option to select DirectX 11 in Guild Wars 2 because the game does not support it.
